  1. It is very hard to imagine what the world will be like once AI crosses that threshold of being able to truly learn for itself and when the cost of that technology drops to very low prices. That video "Humans Need Not Apply" that you linked to was a little scary. I'm sure that humans will work out a solution if we get to a point where technology eliminates too many jobs, but it could be a bit of a rough road to get there. In a world where employment opportunities are rare, capitalism may prove to be an antiquated system of wealth management, but of course those with the wealth (and hence power) will not likely see it that way.

  2. It will be crazy when one day we have robots doing our work for us. This could eventually effect the workforce because they will be able to have AI doing it for us. I think is real cool on how far we have come since 1950. I really liked all the links that you had. Made it easy to get more detail on what you were talking about.

  3. The movie Stepford Wives comes to mind when the topic of AI comes up. I'm not sure if you've seen it, but the men programed robots to act like the perfect wife.
I think there is a lot of potential in the world benefiting from AI. But there is always that thought that we could be taking away from what people do for work now. It will be interesting to see what happens as this technology develops.

  4. Artificial Intelligence is so fascinating and exciting, but terrifying at the same time. Self driving cars seem like perfect solutions to the high number of car accidents that occur. Yet, it's challenging for me to totally trust a computer to take my wheel. What I'd really like to experience is the smart house. No more needing to clean up after the kids and the dog. Yahoo! If you've ever watched the Disney movie Smart House, though, the computer actually does try to take over and control the humans in the house. It's a little frightening.

Nice summary on AI. You're extra links and videos were nice additions to your paper. Great job!
